Privacy Policy

1. The service and minimum age

my wAIfu is an entertainment service that lets you talk by text and voice with an AI-generated character. The character is not a real person and her replies are generated automatically.

The service is intended solely for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors; if we detect such a registration, we delete it.

2. What data we process

2.1. Data you give us

• Email address, when you enter it to download your image and be notified when the app launches.
• Conversation content: the messages you type in the chat, along with the active outfit and personality.
• The name you choose for the character, if you set one. It is stored in your browser and is not sent to our servers except as part of the conversation context.

2.2. Data collected automatically

• IP address and technical request data (user agent, browser language).
• Aggregated usage metrics: page views, dwell time, scroll depth, outbound link clicks, outfit and personality changes, and voice activation.
• Campaign parameters (UTM) present in your entry URL.

We do not process special categories of data or carry out profiling with legal effects on you.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Providing the chat and voice service (processing your message, generating the reply and synthesising the audio). Basis: performance of the contract arising from your use of the service (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Sending you the launch notice and product updates after you leave your email. Basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), withdrawable at any time.
• Measuring usage and preventing abuse. Basis: our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Showing third-party recommendations and attributing referrals through affiliate links. Basis: our legitimate interest in funding a free service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Artificial intelligence and voice

To generate replies and speech we send your conversation content to xAI (the provider of the model and of the speech synthesis). We do not send them your email address. See their policy at x.ai/legal/privacy-policy.

We recommend you do not type personal data, credentials, health data or financial information into the chat. Replies are automatically generated fiction and may be inaccurate: they are not medical, legal, psychological or financial advice.

5. Recipients

We share data with the following providers, always under a data processing agreement:

• xAI — text and speech generation. International transfer to the USA.
• Bunny.net — content delivery network (CDN) for videos and images.
• Our own analytics (landingmetrics.tech555.app) — usage metrics and sign-ups.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or on an adequacy decision.

We do not sell your data. Links to live cam platforms belong to independent third parties with their own policies; clicking them takes you off this site.

6. Retention

• Email address: for as long as the purpose you gave it for remains valid and you have not unsubscribed or withdrawn your consent.
• Conversations: not persistently stored on our servers; they live in your browser for the session and are sent to the AI provider only to generate each reply.
• Metrics and technical logs: as long as needed to analyse usage and detect abuse, after which they are aggregated or deleted.

7. Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising or third-party profiling cookies. We use your browser's local storage (localStorage) to remember your preferences: the name you choose for the character, which outfits you have unlocked, whether you have seen the onboarding, and the campaign parameters of your visit. You can clear it from your browser settings.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, rectify it, erase it, object to its processing, restrict it and request its portability, as well as to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

To stop receiving our emails, use the unsubscribe link included in every message.

If you believe your data is not being handled properly, you may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or with the supervisory authority in your country.

9. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures (encryption in transit via TLS, restricted database access and minimisation of the data we collect). No system is infallible, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. The version in force will be published on this page together with its update date.
